Ludlow Village Players (LVP) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, all-volunteer performing arts association dedicated to providing live theater for the entertainment and enrichment of our community.
History:
In 2007 Port Ludlow Players merged with Port Ludlow Little Theater to become the Ludlow Village Players (LVP). Val Durling served as Artistic Director for much of the time since the reorganization. Our current Artistic Director is Kate Marshall.
More About Us:
Our primary outreach comes from live theater opportunities. In 2025 we plan the musical “Nunsense II” in June and “All the King’s Women” in October, both at the Bay Club. Also two Readers Theater performances: “Ripcord” in March and as part of “Holidays on the Bay” in November at the Beach Club.
Our Improv troupe, “Disorderly Conduct“, will be performing throughout the year at various locations. Contact improv@ludlowvillageplayers.org for information on how to join the troupe or when & where to enjoy a performance.
We also sponsor “Play Readers” at the Beach club each month between January and October. Participants take parts and read the play to each other – no costumes, no memorization, no preparation, just fun. Contact playreaders@ludlowvillageplayers.org for details.
Collectively, volunteers put in thousands of hours to ensure each high quality production. Consequently, we are always looking for volunteers for all aspects of the production (actors, stage managers, prop managers, line prompters, set construction, set decor, tickets sales, sound, lighting, assistant directing, marketing, posters, photography, hospitality, etc.). There are literally opportunities for everyone. If you love or care about live performance, get involved with Ludlow Village Players! Contact Volunteer@ludlowvillageplayers.org
